I don't like much of the original DOOM past the first episode, so I like the fact that Jaguar DOOM cuts out most of the later levels and ends on a relatively strong note without exposing the player to some of the more drawn-out battles. I actually prefer the Jaguar version of DOOM as far as console ports go. The aforementioned friend always used cheats while playing on PC, whereas I was forced to play the game properly on SNES, since it's one of the few (if not the only) versions of DOOM to not have cheats built in. While a lot of people like to denounce the SNES version of DOOM, I'm actually kinda glad that most of my initial experience with DOOM was with that version. My younger brother got the SNES version of DOOM for Christmas the one year, though, and I spent an unhealthy amount of time playing it. Doom 64, released on Mafor the Nintendo 64, is a sequel to the Doom games, taking place after Doom II. I didn't have a PC when I was still living at home, so most of my exposure to DOOM came in the form of trips to a friend's house. Doom 64: Absolution Music Wads Normal Wad (52.4 megs) Small 56K Wad (20. Still, great game with amazing atmosphere. When I got the chance to play it on N64, I was pretty disappointed in the controls, to be honest. I originally played it on PC in the form of a WAD. DOOM 64 is my second-favorite DOOM game, just after the original DOOM.
